About this Role
Job Summary
Join our customer’s team as a Go Developer and play a pivotal role in advancing an exciting AI agent project. You will leverage your Golang expertise to design robust systems, build efficient APIs, and integrate complex services. This is an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative remote environment. This position centers around developing AI agents—a rapidly evolving area with broad potential. While Golang fluency is highly valued, we are open to candidates with strong backend expertise and a proactive approach who are eager to apply their skills beyond typical React+Node.js stacks.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using GoLang. Design, implement, and optimize RESTful APIs and manage API Gateway configurations. Integrate third-party APIs seamlessly to enhance AI agent capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance to ensure reliable system operations. Maintain clear, thorough documentation for developed APIs and system components. Communicate complex technical ideas clearly and effectively in both written and verbal form.
Required Skills and Qualifications
+3 Experience with GoLang and/or modern backend engineering principles. Strong experience with API Gateway, REST API design, and implementation. Proven ability to integrate and manage complex API integrations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills—collaboration and clarity are essential. Proficient understanding of distributed systems and scalable architectures. Self-motivated and adaptable, with a passion for innovative AI-driven projects. Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup and contribute proactively to team goals.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience building or integrating AI agents or similar intelligent systems. Background in cloud infrastructure and containerized environments. Familiarity with additional backend languages or frameworks beyond GoLang is a plus.
