Job Summary
Our customer's team is seeking a high-caliber Investment Banking Modeling Specialist to provide expert financial modeling support for a range of global banking and private equity initiatives. This pivotal role is ideal for international IB/PE professionals—those with 3-6 years of experience—who are passionate about modeling and eager to contribute as a strategic side gig, sourcing and structuring files.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and refine detailed DCF and LBO models for a variety of transactions and investment opportunities. Collaborate with deal teams to analyze and synthesize complex financial data for presentations and reports. Support due diligence and valuation exercises by providing accurate, insightful modeling outputs. Maintain, enhance, and audit financial models, ensuring precision, robustness, and best-practice standards. Convey sophisticated technical concepts in clear, well-structured written and verbal communications to internal stakeholders. Source, organize, and standardize modeling templates and files to support ongoing and future projects. Stay ahead of market trends, continuously updating technical modeling skills and knowledge.
Required Skills and Qualifications
3-6 years of hands-on investment banking and/or private equity experience, with a primary focus on financial modeling. Proven expertise in DCF and LBO models, with clear modeling experience evident on your resume. Background at a major bank or top-tier financial institution Exceptional written and verbal communication skills—a must-have for this role. Strong analytical mindset with deep attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting. Comfortable managing multiple modeling projects and deadlines concurrently.
Preferred Qualifications
International deal exposure or cross-border transaction experience. Prior work with both IB and PE clients or teams. Eagerness to take on side gigs and support file sourcing alongside main responsibilities.
