In this expert remote role, you’ll maintain vehicles and machinery, utilizing cutting-edge OBD-II diagnostics and digital shop management tools while delivering outstanding technical communication. Key Responsibilities: Perform oil and tire services, ensuring all work meets high-quality standards. Conduct comprehensive digital vehicle inspections using tablets, recording all findings in digital service logs. Utilize OBD-II diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electronic issues efficiently. Maintain and update digital shop management platforms with accurate service records. Communicate required repairs and maintenance recommendations clearly to customers, ensuring understanding and satisfaction. Collaborate with the customer’s team to uphold safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency standards. Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in vehicle maintenance and diagnostics technology. Required Skills and Qualifications: Valid Mechanical Certification and current ASE credentials. Hands-on experience with OBD-II diagnostic systems and digital shop management software. Proficiency in documenting and maintaining digital service logs. Strong technical verbal and written communication skills for effective customer and teammate interactions. Demonstrated ability to perform oil changes, tire services, and routine vehicle maintenance independently. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering accurate and thorough service inspections. Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement in shop operations. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a remote or digitally-driven automotive service environment. Advanced understanding of modern vehicle systems and diagnostic platforms. Customer service training or demonstrated excellence in customer communication.
