Job Summary: In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.
Key Responsibilities
Translate and localize content between Maltese, Latvian, and English to ensure linguistic accuracy and contextual relevance. Edit and proofread AI-generated texts, identifying and correcting language errors. Collaborate with AI trainers and linguists to develop, refine, and validate language data for machine learning models. Provide cultural insights and linguistic expertise to enhance the naturalness and fluency of language outputs. Contribute to the development and evaluation of AI language tools for both Maltese and Latvian languages. Document linguistic patterns, anomalies, and recommendations for ongoing language model improvement. Communicate findings and updates effectively to a multidisciplinary, remote team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Native or near-native proficiency in Maltese and strong proficiency in Latvian. Demonstrated experience in editing, translation, or linguistic quality assurance. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with linguistic evaluation in digital or AI-driven environments. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fully remote setting. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach. Comfortable using digital tools for collaboration and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as an AI trainer or with AI-driven linguistic projects. Degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field. Experience working on multicultural or multilingual teams.
