Job Summary
Join our customer's team as a Mongolian Bilingual Expert and play a pivotal role in elevating the quality and accuracy of language tasks. In this dynamic position, you will leverage your fluency in Mongolian and English to perform in-depth video transcriptions, analyze speaker emotion, and refine complex linguistic nuances—all from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities
Transcribe Mongolian-language video content with meticulous attention to accuracy and clarity. Clearly outline and annotate precise timestamps for dialogue and scene changes. Analyze and describe the emotional tone and intent of speakers, capturing subtleties and mood shifts. Conduct advanced grammar, syntax, and tone analysis to ensure linguistic fidelity. Define and explain the conceptual meaning of words and idiomatic expressions within context. Collaborate with the customer's team to deliver insightful linguistic feedback and suggestions for improvement. Consistently meet complex language task requirements, adhering to a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Native or near-native proficiency in both Mongolian and English languages. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for linguistic detail. Proven experience in transcription, translation, or language analysis. Strong understanding of Mongolian and English grammar, syntax, and cultural context. Ability to identify, articulate, and describe speaker emotion and content tone. Technological proficiency and comfort working with digital content and collaborative platforms. High level of self-motivation and commitment to delivering quality work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Linguistics, Philology, Translation Studies, or related field. Experience with linguistic annotation or corpus analysis tools. Background in educational, research, or media translation projects.
