As a Welsh Language Expert, you will play a pivotal role in shaping content, supporting language initiatives, and fostering clear communication across projects. Key Responsibilities
Develop, proofread, and translate high-quality Welsh language materials for a variety of digital and print platforms. Ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and consistency in all communications and content. Support customer’s team in executing Welsh language initiatives, campaigns, and documentation. Advise and consult on best practices for Welsh language use, terminology, and tone of voice. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Welsh language requirements into workflows and deliverables. Provide training, guidance, and feedback to colleagues on Welsh language standards and usage. Monitor evolving language trends and contribute innovative ideas for continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Native proficiency in Welsh, with outstanding command of written and spoken communication. Proven experience in translation, localization, editing, or content creation in a professional context. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to linguistic excellence. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a remote team. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Tech-savvy, comfortable using digital tools and platforms for content production. Passionate about promoting and preserving Welsh language and culture.
Preferred Qualifications
