Key Responsibilities: Translate and localize written content from English to Yoruba and vice versa with high accuracy and cultural relevance. Edit, proofread, and refine Yoruba text to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with project standards. Perform voice over and dubbing tasks, bringing Yoruba content to life in multimedia formats. Serve as an audio engineer for Yoruba language projects, ensuring sound quality and alignment with client requirements. Contribute linguistic expertise to AI training datasets, supporting natural language processing and machine learning initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless language integration in digital products. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Yoruba linguistic trends and best practices. Required Skills and Qualifications: Native or near-native fluency in Yoruba, with strong command of grammar, syntax, and idiomatic expressions. Proven experience in linguistic work, editing, translating, and written communication. Skilled in dubbing and voice over, with a clear and expressive Yoruba speaking voice. Audio engineering proficiency, particularly in the context of language and multimedia projects. Attention to detail and commitment to linguistic integrity. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines. Familiarity with AI training datasets, especially for language processing, is a strong plus. Preferred Qualifications: Formal education in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field. Prior experience as an AI language trainer or contributor in technology-driven projects.
