Core AI/ML Software Engineer (Remote, US)

We are looking for a Core AI/ML Software Engineer with 8, 12 years of experience to own the AI brain of our cybersecurity platform. You'll work with full autonomy at a seed-stage startup solving a hard problem: determining whether vulnerabilities are exploitable in a customer's environment. This role sits at the intersection of NLP, agentic AI, and systems engineering, building pipelines that mine unstructured security intelligence and power automated exploitability assessments. You'll join a small, high-caliber team where your work directly shapes the product and the company's trajectory.

What will you be doing?

• Build pipelines that scan open-source security intel (advisories, NVD, vendor feeds), process unstructured text, and extract structured exploitation conditions for each CVE

• Design and ship agentic workflows that evaluate whether a CVE is exploitable against a customer's specific resource configuration

• Build and iterate on LLM evaluation systems to measure and improve the quality of generated exploitation conditions and agent verdicts

• Develop ML models (classifiers, NLP pipelines) that ground and constrain LLM output as real-world telemetry accumulates, replacing free-form guesses with learned, validated structure

• Own exploratory R&D end-to-end, from scoping ambiguous problems to shipping production-ready solutions, and collaborate with the team to productize results
