About this Role
We are looking for a **Forward Deployed Engineer with 1-5 years of experience **to own end-to-end technical delivery of AI-native software products for state, local, and federal government clients. You'll be a high-agency, customer-facing full-stack engineer who pairs with a Forward Deployed PM to design, build, and ship modernized systems that replace decades-old government infrastructure, working directly with civil servants and delivering real impact for public services.
What will you be doing?
Owning entire projects end-to-end: meeting with government clients, designing the solution, building it, and delivering it
Using AI-native coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, etc.) daily to build and iterate at speed against live customer requirements
Designing reusable scaffolding, components, data models, and workflows, that compounds across future deployments
Working directly with non-technical government stakeholders (~25% client-facing, ~75% building)
Occasional travel to client sites (roughly 5 days per quarter) to understand needs and deliver projects in person
