We are looking for an Immigration Lawyers to join CanadaVisa, a pioneering Canadian immigration law firm that has been helping newcomers navigate the path to Canada since 1976. We're open to candidates at various seniority levels, from mid-level attorneys to managing attorney/partner-level professionals, who are excited about the intersection of immigration law and AI.

What you need

  • Licensed to practice law in Canada with direct experience in Canadian immigration law
  • Experience with criminal inadmissibility cases is a strong plus but not required for this general role
  • Genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for AI and its applications in legal practice
  • Ability to work across a broad portfolio of immigration case types
  • Open to various seniority levels, from mid-level practitioners to partner-level leaders

What will you be doing?

  • Handling a range of Canadian immigration matters across the firm's portfolio (Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs, Family Sponsorship, Work Permits, Inadmissibility, Criminal Inadmissibility, etc.)

  • Advising and representing clients through complex immigration and citizenship processes

  • Using and exploring AI tools to improve legal workflows and client service delivery

  • Potentially growing into a leadership role (mini-GM or managing attorney) depending on seniority and fit

  • Contributing to the firm's turnaround and growth during a pivotal period of transformation
