About this Role
We are looking for a GTM Engineer with 8+ years of experience to own and evolve Homebase's go-to-market tech stack. This is a highly technical, hands-on role where you'll serve as the go-to expert for Salesforce development and tooling across sales and customer success, reporting directly into the VP of Sales & Customer Support.
What you need
- 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including development (Apex, Lightning components, APIs), not just administration
- Relevant Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer, Sales Cloud, etc.), credentials are critical for this role
- Experience in startups or mid-stage scale-ups (not solely large enterprise environments)
- Strong stakeholder communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Background supporting both Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments
What will you be doing?
Building and maintaining custom Salesforce solutions using Apex code, Lightning components, and REST APIs
Owning the full go-to-market tool stack, managing integrations, automations, and system architecture
Partnering directly with sales and customer success stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
Leading technical projects independently, navigating cross-functional relationships without constant oversight
Driving process improvements and documentation across the revenue operations function
