Infrastructure Engineer (US)

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to own and evolve the infrastructure management system that powers Porter's multi-cloud platform. This is a pure IC role on a flat engineering team where you'll tackle some of the hardest problems in cloud infrastructure, designing systems that work across AWS, GCP, and Azure for hundreds of customers, from seed-stage startups to post-IPO companies. You won't just set up infrastructure; you'll write the software that programmatically manages and rolls out changes across every customer environment. Unlike being back-office infra at a larger company, here your work is the product, you'll engage directly with top customers and help broker deals worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

What you will be doing

• Building and maintaining the software that provisions, manages, and rolls out infrastructure changes across hundreds of customer cloud accounts (AWS, GCP, Azure)

• Designing cloud-agnostic infrastructure architecture that scales from seed-stage companies to public enterprises, without breaking the bank

• Engineering reliable, automated systems to handle the complexity of multi-cloud Kubernetes deployments at scale

• Collaborating directly with customers on Slack and calls to deeply understand their infrastructure needs and translate those into platform improvements

• Raising the bar on infrastructure reliability and code quality so that any customer's DevOps team would look under the hood and say "there's no chance I'm doing this better"
