About this Role
We are looking for a Mid-Level M&A Associate with 3, 6 years of experience to take ownership of strategic M&A transactions for high-growth, venture-backed technology companies. You'll join a Pitchbook-ranked boutique where deal teams are lean and you'll carry real responsibility, with a clear path to partnership title.
What you need
- 3, 6 years of dedicated strategic M&A experience at Big Law, a strong midsize firm, or reputable boutique, no fragmented or jumpy work history
- Ability to independently manage transactions end-to-end with limited hand-holding
- Strategic M&A focus preferred over private equity; sell-side experience is a plus
- Consistent tenure at firms (no jumping every 1, 2 years)
- Admitted and in good standing to a US state bar
What will you be doing?
Running M&A transactions day-to-day: managing due diligence, drafting and negotiating definitive agreements (SPAs, asset purchase agreements, ancillary docs)
Handling both buy-side and sell-side strategic M&A deals, including cross-border where relevant
Acting as a primary client contact and interfacing directly with opposing counsel
Coordinating closing documents and keeping deals moving on lean deal teams (partner + associate + paralegal)
Contributing to the firm's growing M&A practice with high-quality venture-backed and technology company transactions
