About this Role
We are looking for a Real Estate Transactional Attorney with 5-10 years of experience to join one of the nation's fastest-growing commercial real estate law firms. This is a backfill for a senior transactional counsel, and you'll be handling sophisticated real estate finance, acquisitions, and sales matters for leading developers, investors, and lenders in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
What you need
- 5-10 years of commercial real estate transactional experience in a law firm setting (mid-size to large firm preferred)
- J.D. From an accredited law school
- Admission to the New Jersey and/or New York Bar (if only NY barred, must be willing to waive into NJ)
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Experience with real estate finance matters (borrower and/or lender side)
What will you be doing?
Represent clients in commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, sales, and commercial leasing
Handle borrower and lender side financing and refinancing transactions
Draft, negotiate, and review purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, and commercial leases
Conduct due diligence, title and survey review, and coordinate closings
Collaborate with MSW's land use, litigation, and construction teams on integrated matters
