About this Role
We are looking for a Senior Bankruptcy Attorney with 10+ years of consumer bankruptcy experience to lead and grow our Chapter 7 practice. This is a rare opportunity to build your own practice within a fully remote, collegial firm, all marketing, lead gen, and client acquisition is handled for you, so you can focus entirely on the law.
What you need
- Licensed and in good standing with the Texas bar
- 10+ years of dedicated consumer bankruptcy experience (Chapter 7 focus, not corporate/Chapter 11)
- Comfortable operating at high volume without sacrificing accuracy
- Tech-savvy and able to adapt quickly to new tools and platforms
- Strong interpersonal skills, friendly, professional communicator who represents debtors (not creditors)
What will you be doing?
Own and grow the firm's high-volume Chapter 7 consumer bankruptcy practice end to end
Manage consumer filings from intake through discharge (90, 120 day cycles)
Partner with the senior paralegal team on case throughput and quality
Help hire, vet, and mentor junior attorneys as the practice scales
Serve as the senior legal voice on complex or contested consumer matters
