About this Role

We are looking for a Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with 7-10+ years of experience to join a fast-growing boutique law firm and help manage sophisticated commercial real estate transactions from checklist through closing. You'll work directly alongside partners at one of New Jersey's most respected CRE practices, with a clear path to becoming the go-to paralegal for the group.

What you need

7-10+ years of commercial real estate paralegal experience at a law firm (not in-house, title company, or corporate setting)
Proven experience closing CRE transactions, acquisitions, dispositions, and financing deals
Strong tenure at prior firms, no job-hopping; stable employment history is critical
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the confidence to independently drive deal progress
Tech-savvy, proficient with document management systems (iManage preferred), PDF manipulation, and open to adopting AI tools

What will you be doing?

Managing commercial real estate deals end-to-end, generating closing checklists, preparing closing documents, and coordinating closing day logistics for purchase/sale and loan transactions
Reviewing title commitments and surveys, handling title and survey objections, and coordinating closing deliverables
Jumping into active email threads to move deals forward, communicating directly with clients, lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel
Reviewing closing statements, assembling signature pages, and finalizing documents for recording
Using technology (iManage, PDF tools, AI) to drive workflow efficiency across the team
