About this Role

We are looking for a Senior Litigator with 10+ years of experience to handle commercial and entertainment litigation matters at a top-ranked boutique law firm.

What you need

Admitted to the New York Bar, non-negotiable
Entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to be a self-starter
Proven commercial litigation experience; entertainment or IP litigation background is ideal
Portable business of $1M, $1.5M required
Lateral hire with substantial experience, must be able to hit the ground running without extensive training

What will you be doing?

Handling all levels of commercial and entertainment litigation in New York state and federal courts from client intake through trial
Working collaboratively with the 8-9 person litigation department in New York, with ready-to-go staff support from day one
Servicing existing firm clients (particularly in music/entertainment) while using Reitler's platform to grow your own book of business
Bolstering the NY litigation team
Drafting pleadings, briefs, settlement agreements, mediation statements, and handling trial preparation
