Senior Product Engineer (US)

We are looking for a Senior Product Engineer with 3+ years of experience to own major product areas end-to-end at Kickoff, the first personal training platform covered by health insurance. You are an AI-native builder who combines product taste, user empathy, and strong technical judgment, someone who can talk to users, identify high-leverage problems, and ship production features at incredible speed using AI tools. You'll join a lean, high-impact engineering team of 3 reporting directly to the CEO, with tremendous autonomy to shape the product direction and roadmap. Kickoff has grown 5x since January, is approaching $20M in run rate revenue, and is on a path toward IPO, this is a chance to build something transformative at a critical inflection point.

What will you be doing?

• Own product areas for a quarter at a time, conducting user research with coaches and clients, defining specs, designing solutions, and shipping production features using AI agents and agentic harnesses

• Build AI-powered recommendation systems that analyze client data and guide coaches on personalized next steps (e.g., in-call guidance prompting coaches to ask critical questions, or re-engagement strategies for clients who go MIA)

• Design and ship delightful consumer and coach-facing product experiences across web and mobile, using AI tools for design and implementation

• Develop proprietary models using Kickoff's unique dataset to drive personalized workout, nutrition, sleep, and behavior-change recommendations

• Push the envelope on AI-native development, building tests, specs, and planning documents that enable AI agents to build faster and more stable code, while teaching the team new approaches
