Senior Product Manager, Core (US)

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager with 4-7 years of experience to own and drive a new product area from beta to market fit at Albert Invent, the first AI-native operating system for materials science R&D. You'll be a product thinker who is maniacally obsessed with simplifying complex workflows for scientists, deeply investing in user research and empathy to build experiences that delight a 70-year-old chemist in Germany who just wants to weigh a material without clicking a single unnecessary button. This is a 0-to-1 opportunity where you'll take a nascent product for synthetic chemistry through rapid iteration, working closely with customers and engineering to ship fast and find product-market fit. You'll operate with high autonomy within your product domain while collaborating with the Head of Product to shape the broader platform vision.

What will you be doing?

• Own end-to-end product strategy and execution for a new synthetic chemistry product area, iterating rapidly on a live beta, gathering deep customer feedback, and driving toward product-market fit

• Spend significant time with scientists and beta customers, conducting hands-on user research, listening deeply to pain points, and translating insights into simplified, intuitive product experiences

• Partner closely with engineering and design to ship pixel-perfect features, prototype with AI tools (Claude, Figma), and give detailed design feedback to ensure a consumer-grade user experience

• Collaborate with go-to-market teams to support pre-sales motions for a new persona, demoing the product roadmap to chief science officers and helping land new customer segments

• Contribute to platform-level thinking (~20% of time), identifying which capabilities from your product area should be generalized across other parts of Albert's core applications
