About this Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join a small, high-impact engineering team building AI-powered voice agents that handle millions of calls monthly for Fortune 500 companies. You'll work across four product teams, three focused on core product development and one operating as forward-deployed engineers, shipping full-stack features that directly power Replicant's LLM-based conversational AI platform.

What you need

Proficiency in Python or TypeScript, this is a hard requirement (one or the other)
Hands-on experience working with LLMs (multi-turn agents, prompt engineering, or tools like LangChain), not just theoretical knowledge
Full-stack engineering experience shipping solutions at scale in a startup or high-growth environment
Startup mentality, self-starter who thinks outside the box, not a clock-in/clock-out engineer from big tech or government
Located in the United States or Canada (visa transfers possible for exceptional senior candidates, but no new sponsorship)

What will you be doing?

Build and ship full-stack product features that support and enhance Replicant's LLM-powered voice and chat products
Work across product teams to deliver capabilities that help win deals and scale the platform (including forward-deployed engineering work)
Integrate speech recognition, text-to-speech, and conversational AI model improvements into production systems
Optimize and debug production systems balancing latency, cost, and user experience at enterprise scale
Collaborate closely with product and ML teams in a fast-moving, startup environment where every engineer owns multiple initiatives
