Software Engineer - Data Infrastructure (US)

We are looking for a Software Engineer - Data Infrastructure with 1-8 years of experience to join a small, high-caliber team building the modern data platform for alternative investments. You'll work on green-field systems powering ingestion, structured context, permissions, and lineage, spinning up full AWS clusters on behalf of customers in ways that are historically unheard of at this stage. This is a role for builders who thrive in ambiguity, ship end-to-end, and want massive autonomy with minimal process. You'll be given broad swim lanes of work and the freedom to run with them for weeks at a time, with guidance from a team with deep fintech and investing expertise.

What will you be doing?

• Design and ship production systems for data ingestion, structured context, and the governed foundation that applications run on

• Build infrastructure that spins up and manages full AWS clusters on behalf of customers, translating diverse data formats into typed, related records with lineage and permissions

• Own problems end-to-end, from an ambiguous brief to something a business relies on daily, with significant autonomy and minimal hand-holding

• Use LLMs extensively in your day-to-day work, using the team's internal AI infrastructure (including parallel agents and containerized dev environments) to maximize engineering velocity

• Collaborate with a lean team of engineers through lightweight standups and planning sessions, contributing to green-field technical direction and architecture decisions
