Software Engineer, Infra-Product (US)

We are looking for a Software Engineer, Infra-Product with 1, 5 years of experience to join our team and help build open-source localization infrastructure used by companies like Cursor, Ramp, and Partiful. You'll be joining a small, elite engineering team of six at a recently Series A-funded startup backed by a16z Infra and the CEOs of Vercel, Cognition, and ElevenLabs. We need someone with exceptional TypeScript proficiency who is passionate about developer tools, open-source libraries, and working across the full stack. This is a high-ownership role where you'll operate in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment alongside the founding engineering team, shipping features, triaging bugs, and directly shaping the product roadmap. A significant portion of the work involves AI/ML workflows that power our translation infrastructure.

What will you be doing?

• Building and shipping features across our open-source libraries, SDKs, and APIs, primarily in TypeScript, with a focus on infrastructure and developer tooling

• Participating in daily team standups to triage high-priority bugs and customer requests, then splitting off to focus on your area of ownership

• Collaborating directly with the CEO and engineering leadership to evaluate customer feature requests and shape the product roadmap

• Submitting and reviewing PRs with other engineers, maintaining a high bar for code quality across the stack

• Working on AI-powered translation workflows and localization infrastructure that helps the world's best companies launch globally in dozens of languages
