VP of Engineering (US)

We are looking for a VP of Engineering with 10+ years of experience to serve as a hands-on player-coach who will personally build product while leading and scaling our engineering team. You'll partner directly with the CEO to shape product and technical direction at a company that has grown from $4M to $30M in annual revenue in just one year, with sights set on $100M by mid-next year. This is not a supervisory role: you'll spend ~75% of your time building across product, design, and engineering using AI, and ~25% managing a team of 4 engineers. We need someone with exceptional product instincts, a high bar for quality, and the grit to thrive in a high-growth, in-person environment in NYC.

What will you be doing?

• Personally ship critical product across web, mobile, backend, and AI systems, owning features end-to-end from user problem to production launch

• Lead, mentor, and hold accountable a team of 4 product engineers, with the mandate to hire, develop, and make tough personnel decisions as needed

• Use AI and agentic tooling across every stage of development to help the team ship at extraordinary speed

• Shape product strategy alongside the CEO, deciding what to build, not just how to build it, with a focus on creating beautiful, consumer-grade experiences

• Build the engineering culture and team that will take Kickoff from $30M to $100M+ in revenue
