About Turing
Turing is one of the world’s fastest-growing AI companies, accelerating the advancement and deployment of powerful AI systems. Turing helps customers in two ways: Working with the world’s leading AI labs to advance frontier model capabilities in thinking, reasoning, coding, agentic behavior, multimodality, multilinguality, STEM, and frontier knowledge; and leveraging that work to build real-world AI systems that solve mission-critical priorities for companies.
Role Overview
We are seeking content analysts with strong analytical skills and excellent English comprehension and editorial ability to annotate video by writing high-quality descriptive captions with accuracy and clarity. We also expect the candidate to be able to review other annotators’ work and provide valid constructive feedback. - Analyze captions and inconsistencies or areas for improvement in captioning and provide detailed feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams or follow guidelines to maintain high-quality standards in caption annotation and content accuracy.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting with a desktop/Laptop set up with a good internet connection.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of work experience in writing professionally (copywriter, journalist, technical writer, editor, translator, etc.)
Perks of Freelancing with Turing
- Work on the cutting edge of AI.
- Fully remote and flexible work environment.
- Exposure to advanced LLMs and insight into how they’re trained.
Offer Details
- Commitments Required : At least 4 hours per day and minimum 20 hours per week with 4 hours of overlap with PST. (We have 3 options of time commitment: 20 hrs/week, 30 hrs/week or 40 hrs/week)

- Duration: 1 month.
- Location: India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, Ghana, Bangladesh, Turkey, Mexico.
Evaluation Process
- Shortlisting based on qualifications and relevant professional writing work experience.
- Shortlisted candidates will be sent an automated analytical challenge (approximately 45 minutes) and a writing assessment (approximately 30 minutes).

Common questions
How does Turing's talent matching work?
Turing calls it the Intelligent Talent Cloud. You build a profile and go through vetting (automated tests, an AI-powered interview, practical skill assessments), and once vetted, Turing's algorithm surfaces your profile directly to partner companies like Fortune 500s and top AI labs. You don't browse listings or bid on work; matches come to you.
How and when does Turing pay contractors?
Monthly, in USD, via Deel, Payoneer, or direct bank transfer. You're engaged as an independent contractor responsible for your own local taxes. Plan your cash flow around a monthly cycle if you're used to weekly payouts elsewhere.
What does task-based AI training work look like?
Practical, hands-on data work: recording short videos, categorizing images, rating text responses, or analyzing data. Tasks are designed to be short and distinct, typically 5 to 60 minutes each.
What does Writing work look like for a Content Analyst?
Tasks here are scoped to Writing, not generic labeling. As a Content Analyst, expect to draw on real domain judgment (evaluating outputs, correcting errors, or providing expert reasoning specific to Writing) rather than following a one-size-fits-all rubric. If you don't have hands-on Writing background, this is likely not the right listing to start with.
What specific skills does this listing call for?
English is named directly in the listing. If you don't have hands-on experience with this, expect the screening process to test for it directly rather than accepting adjacent experience as a substitute.
How much does this specific role pay?
The listing doesn't state a rate. The $10–$22/hr shown here is our estimate from the role type and location (see /pay-methodology), so treat it as a rough guide and confirm the actual rate with the platform before committing time.
What happens when I click Apply on this listing?
You'll be taken to Turing's external site to complete your application there. This listing links through a referral, but the process is identical to applying directly; the link just routes you correctly. Create an account on their site and follow their onboarding steps.
Can I apply from outside the United States, Bangladesh, Egypt and 7 other countries?
This specific role is open only to people based in the United States, Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Kenya, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Turkey, and Ghana. If you are somewhere else, applying is unlikely to lead to an offer even if you pass the assessment, because the restriction is usually about where the work can legally be contracted rather than your skills. Read the full description for any tax-residency or right-to-work caveats before you apply, since they can differ by country.
