What to Expect

Czech language evaluation tasks address a West Slavic language with complex inflectional morphology—seven grammatical cases, three genders, and extensive verb conjugation paradigms including the imperfective/perfective aspect distinction. AI Czech errors commonly appear in case selection (the seven-case system has numerous declension paradigms varying by gender and animacy), aspect errors, and gender agreement. Czech also has significant spoken/written register distinction: spoken Czech (Obecná čeština) has distinct morphological forms from formal written Standard Czech, and tasks evaluate whether AI navigates this correctly for the described context. Czech and Slovak are closely related and mutually intelligible, but AI sometimes produces Slovak forms in Czech text. Audio tasks involve recording in authentic Czech speech. Native speaker or near-native fluency with strong grammatical awareness is required.
