You will draft realistic research questions that reflect issues arising in transactional and regulatory practice, grounded in statutory and regulatory interpretation. Draft practitioner-level research questions arising in: Corporate transactions Securities regulation Administrative law Compliance and regulatory frameworks Incorporate jurisdiction-specific statutory or regulatory interpretation Frame issues that require synthesis of: Statutory text Agency guidance Legislative history (where appropriate) Ensure questions resemble real client matters, not academic hypotheticals 4–7+ years of law firm experience in transactional or regulatory practice Strong background in statutory and regulatory interpretation Experience researching federal and/or state regulatory frameworks Ability to clearly scope legal issues for research Experience interacting with regulatory agencies Background in highly regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, energy, etc.) Prior work in legal tech or AI-related initiatives Help define realistic evaluation benchmarks for advanced AI legal reasoning Collaborate with a cutting-edge AI research lab We consider all qualified applicants without regard to legally protected characteristics and provide reasonable accommodations upon request.
