In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality language analysis, transcription, and detailed linguistic insights for a variety of video content. Key Responsibilities
Transcribe video content from Lao to English and vice versa, ensuring accuracy and comprehensive time-stamping. Analyze and describe the emotional tone and intention of speakers with cultural sensitivity. Evaluate grammar, syntax, and language structure in both Lao and English contexts. Clearly outline conceptual aspects and definitions of complex or nuanced terminology. Perform advanced linguistic tasks, including tone analysis and context interpretation. Contribute to broader language and communication tasks as required by project needs. Commit to delivering reliable, high-quality results within project timelines (minimum 15 hours per week).
Required Skills and Qualifications
Fluency in both written and spoken Lao and English, with particular emphasis on clear, precise communication. Proven experience with transcription, language analysis, or interpretation involving Lao and English. Ability to detect and describe emotional nuance, tone, and intent in spoken content. Strong attention to detail, particularly in grammar, linguistic structure, and context. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the capability to meet deadlines. Comfort working independently in a remote setting, maintaining consistent output and communication.
