What to Expect

Sociology evaluation tasks assess AI reasoning about social structures, institutions, and human behavior at a collective level. You'll evaluate whether AI correctly applies sociological theory (Durkheim, Weber, Bourdieu, intersectionality frameworks) to social phenomena, whether AI descriptions of social dynamics are empirically grounded, and whether AI research methodology explanations are accurate. Tasks often present a social scenario and ask whether the AI's analysis correctly identifies structural factors versus individual-level explanations. Quantitative sociology tasks assess whether statistical methods are described accurately. Qualitative methodology tasks evaluate whether AI understands ethnographic and interview-based research approaches. Graduate training in sociology, social psychology, or related social sciences is the typical background.
