About this Role
We are looking for a Account Executive with 4, 7 years of experience to own and build Timescapes' greenfield territory in Texas, selling our visual progress tracking platform into Tier 1 & 2 general contractors. You'll be a full-cycle closer with an existing Rolodex in the construction industry, someone who isn't afraid to pick up the phone, slam 50, 100 dials a day, and get out in the field to build relationships over coffee, lunch-and-learns, and association events. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help scale the US market from ~$600K ARR to $2, 3M+ in the next year, backed by a superior product that has already landed logos like NASA, Hensel Phelps, and Vaughn Construction. If you want to make serious money and have the drive to match, this is your role.
What will you be doing?
Running full-cycle sales, self-sourcing, prospecting, and closing new logo deals from a named target account list of top general contractors in Texas and nationally
Getting out in the field to build relationships: dropping by job sites, attending industry associations, hosting lunch-and-learns, and using your construction network to open doors
Making 50, 100 outbound calls daily using Nooks power dialer, setting meetings, and building a robust pipeline with support from a BDR and marketing team
Managing pipeline and forecasting accurately in HubSpot, driving 5, 7 closed-won deals per month with a land-expand-embed motion focused on average contract duration and multi-project adoption
Collaborating closely with the in-office marketing team (VP Marketing, Product Marketing Manager, NA Marketing Manager) and Customer Success to deliver a customer experience and grow accounts over time

Interview Prep
Sample questions for a Account Executive role, written in-house to help you prepare.
How do you build a sales strategy for a new territory or account list you haven't worked before?
I start by segmenting the accounts based on fit and likely deal size, then prioritize outreach toward the highest-potential segment first rather than working through the list in whatever order it was given. I also research recent activity or triggers at target accounts to time outreach when it's more likely to land.
What data do you look at to decide whether a deal in your pipeline is actually likely to close this quarter?
I look at concrete signals, like whether a specific decision maker has engaged directly and whether next steps have a committed date, rather than relying on a self-reported probability percentage alone. Deals without a clear next step and owner tend to stall regardless of how promising the initial conversation felt.
How do you approach a renewal conversation with a customer whose usage has been declining?
I address the usage decline directly and ask what's changed, rather than pitching the renewal as if everything were fine, since ignoring a visible problem the customer already knows about undermines trust. Understanding the actual cause, whether it's a champion who left or a genuine fit issue, shapes whether the renewal conversation should focus on re-engagement or a different offering.
What's your process for building a business case that resonates with an economic buyer who wasn't involved in earlier conversations?
I translate the value discussed with day-to-day users into terms the economic buyer actually cares about, like cost savings or revenue impact, rather than repeating the same pitch that worked with a different audience. A pitch that worked for a hands-on user often needs to be reframed entirely for someone focused on budget and ROI.
