How Alignerr Projects Work
Alignerr is the talent network built on top of Labelbox, the enterprise data infrastructure platform. When you apply, you go through a screening and a Zara video interview. ATC Transcription Project
This project is building AI for the aviation industry; specifically, systems that can understand and process real air traffic control (ATC) audio. The work involves transcribing real tower-to-pilot recordings with professional-grade accuracy.
This one is niche, and that is the point.
Alignerr is not looking for fast typists. ATC audio contains heavy accents, background noise, fast-paced phraseology, and aviation-specific callsigns. Only someone with real ATC or aviation experience can transcribe this accurately enough to be useful for AI training.
The work involves transcribing real ATC-to-pilot audio recordings, labeling speakers and accurately capturing callsigns, handling aviation-specific abbreviations and phraseology, and delivering high-accuracy transcripts per formatting guidelines. It suits active or retired air traffic controllers, pilots, flight instructors, dispatchers, and flight students with solid ATC communication knowledge; prior transcription or annotation experience is a bonus, not a requirement.

Gamechanger; Lua Project
This project targets Lua developers and game programmers. Your job is to build real gameplay systems, not toy examples; that help AI learn how experienced game developers write production-quality code. Think Roblox engineers and scripting veterans, not just hobbyists who have poked at Lua once.
The work involves designing and implementing gameplay systems in Lua, writing clean and idiomatic game logic, creating unit tests that reflect how senior developers work, and demonstrating how interactive, complex elements get built. Contributors with backgrounds in financial analysis, accounting, or quantitative modeling work to train AI on how real finance professionals think; evaluating model outputs, correcting errors, and providing the kind of structured reasoning that no generic annotator can replicate.
The roles span a wide range of finance expertise: from Python-fluent analysts building financial models, to CPAs reviewing accounting logic, to Wall Street veterans evaluating how well AI mimics institutional reasoning.
You are doing model evaluation (reviewing AI-generated financial analysis for accuracy and professional quality), Python and modeling (building or reviewing financial models as a domain expert), accounting review (evaluating AI outputs against real accounting principles and standards), and feedback writing (explaining where and why AI fell short of professional-grade analysis).

NEXT; Senior Software Engineering Project
NEXT is Alignerr's premium software engineering project. This is not entry-level annotation. Alignerr is specifically looking for senior engineers to evaluate AI-generated code at the level of someone who would ship it to production.
The work spans two complementary roles: evaluating whether AI-generated code is correct and well-designed, and ranking multiple AI outputs to establish which approach a senior engineer would prefer. Both require the kind of judgment that only comes from real engineering experience.
