What to Expect

Incident response evaluation tasks assess the quality of AI security incident handling procedures, breach investigation methodologies, and recovery planning. You'll evaluate whether AI-generated incident response playbooks correctly sequence containment, eradication, and recovery phases for different incident types (ransomware, data breach, DDoS, insider threat). Tasks also assess whether AI forensic investigation approaches follow proper evidence preservation procedures and whether root cause analysis is methodologically sound. Business continuity and disaster recovery planning tasks ask whether AI-generated RTO/RPO objectives are realistic and whether recovery procedures are complete. Background in incident response, security operations, digital forensics, or CISO-level security leadership is the typical qualification. GCIH, GCFE, or equivalent certifications are valued credentials for these roles.
