About this Role
- Role Overview
Mercor is collaborating with a leading AI lab on a large-scale AI training initiative focused on improving architectural reasoning, design analysis, and technical drafting capabilities in advanced language models. We’re seeking experienced Architecture professionals to contribute by creating and evaluating architecture-related prompts and responses.
This is a multilingual opportunity. We are specifically seeking experts who are fluent and professionally active in one or more of the following languages:
Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Russian, German, Arabic, Thai, Tamil, or Hindi.
Importantly, we are not looking for translation ability alone. Candidates must have real-world professional experience practicing architecture in their language and cultural context, with familiarity in local building codes, design norms, terminology, and professional standards.
- Key Responsibilities
Author realistic architecture prompts spanning conceptual design, building systems, materials, construction methods, sustainability, and code compliance
Review and revise AI-generated responses for technical accuracy, feasibility, clarity, and adherence to professional standards
Write high-quality human-authored “gold” responses for complex or ambiguous architectural and design scenarios
Create controlled prompt variations that test subtle differences in site constraints, regulations, climate conditions, or client requirements
Evaluate outputs across different lengths, styles, and instruction constraints
Identify model failure cases involving technical inaccuracies, unrealistic designs, improper code interpretation, or culturally inconsistent architectural assumptions
- Ideal Qualifications
Degree in Architecture or a closely related field
2+ years of professional work experience in architecture, architectural design, or a related practice (e.g., architectural firms, construction firms, urban planning agencies)
Active professional familiarity with archite

Extremely. This is true "log in and work" flexibility. You can usually work for 20 minutes or 4 hours depending on your availability. There are rarely minimum hour requirements, making it ideal for side income.
Is there an interview?
Usually, no. Hiring for these roles is almost entirely based on passing an automated assessment or "qualification" task. If you pass the test, you get access to the work.
How soon will I start?
