Key Responsibilities
Provide accurate and nuanced translation and interpretation between Mandarin and English across various business contexts. Review, edit, and proofread written materials to ensure linguistic quality and cultural relevance. Facilitate clear and effective verbal and written communication between teams, clients, and stakeholders. Support localization of documents, presentations, and marketing materials for Mandarin-speaking audiences. Collaborate closely with team members to ensure messaging consistency and high standards of communication. Stay updated on linguistic trends and terminology relevant to the industry and region. Act as a cultural liaison to help the team navigate cross-cultural nuances and drive successful engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin, with exceptional command of both written and spoken language. Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written. Proven experience in translation, interpretation, or language services for business or professional settings. Detail-oriented with a passion for linguistic accuracy and cultural sensitivity. Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment. Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to communication.
