Role Overview:

We are looking for highly proficient multilingual content specialists to design realistic, context-rich scenarios and generate high-quality data for training next-generation AI systems. This role focuses on creating high-quality, user directive and corresponding outputs in the target language, while ensuring alignment with structured guidelines. This is a non-technical role suited for candidates with strong language skills and attention to detail.

What does day-to-day look like:.

Create and refine natural, high-quality queries in Mandarin/Chinese. Write expected outputs (in Mandarin/Chinese) that reflect correct and fluent responses. Translate key components into English to support internal validation workflows. Collect and reference supporting sources to ensure queries are grounded and verifiable. Follow structured guidelines to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment across all generated data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on outputs and improve data quality.

Required Qualifications:

Multilingual capabilities are mandatory (English and Mandarin/Chinese): Ability to read and write in English and Mandarin/Chinese with a high degree of comprehension skills. 2+ years experience with content writing, translation or localization. Ability to follow structured guidelines and work within defined workflows. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or undergraduate in Engineering, Literature, Journalism, Communications, Arts, Statistics, or a related field. We are open to candidates who do not have a Bachelor's degree but have experience in the area. Experience creating datasets for LLMs (prompt writing, SFT, RLHF, eval benchmarks, red teaming, QA).

Offer Details:

Commitments Required : at least 4 hours per day and minimum 20 hours per week with 4 hours of overlap with PST.  Engagement type  : Contractor assignment/freelancer (no medical/paid leave) Duration of contract : 3 months (can extend). This role will require some overlap with UTC-8:00 (4 hrs/day) America/Los_Angeles
