Physics Problem Evaluator

Claru is the contributor board of Reka AI, and it runs two different kinds of paid work side by side. We track 60 open Claru roles: about two-thirds are egocentric video capture, where you film everyday tasks with a phone on a head mount for a flat regional rate, and the rest are desk-based annotation, evaluation and red-teaming work paying $20 to $100 an hour by difficulty.

Video capture roles ask you to record first-person footage of tasks you already do: cooking, laundry, garage and DIY work, gardening, a shift at a retail or restaurant job, a warehouse floor, an office, or a hotel and gym visit. Each listing names one task family and one filming spec, and the footage trains robotics and embodied AI on how people move through real settings.
Desk-based roles run entirely in a browser: rating prompt-response pairs for RLHF, drawing segmentation masks over medical scans, reviewing generated code, evaluating physics and legal reasoning, and red-teaming models for jailbreaks. These pay by how much judgment a task takes, from $20-$35/hr for straightforward labeling up to $55-$100/hr for roles that expect graduate-level or professional depth.
Both halves are fully asynchronous. There are no scheduled hours or meetings; you claim available work and submit it on your own time, with no guaranteed queue between batches.
Video capture has no experience bar. Claru asks for an approved recent smartphone (recent iPhone, Pixel 6 or newer, Galaxy S21 or newer) or a wearable camera, a head mount, and access to the setting on the listing, a kitchen, a garage, a warehouse floor. It explicitly wants unstaged, ordinary footage, not performance.
Desk-based roles are the opposite: they expect you to apply a written rubric consistently and, on the higher-paying listings, to hold real subject depth. RLHF evaluation, medical and 3D vision annotation, code review and red-teaming roles ask for graduate-level knowledge or prior professional annotation experience.
46 of the 60 open listings name specific eligible countries. Every capture role is gated this way, currently to the US, Canada, a named set of LATAM markets, and a named set of Asian markets, each at its own flat rate. Desk-based roles are listed as remote with no country gate.
| Tier | Typical rate | Who qualifies |
|---|---|---|
| Video capture, Asia | $5/hr | India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam |
| Video capture, LATAM | $6-$7/hr | Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru |
| Video capture, Canada | $10/hr | Same filming spec as every other capture tier |
| Video capture, US | $15/hr | Same filming spec as every other capture tier |
| Desk-based, entry | $20-$35/hr | Text labeling, instruction-following annotation |
| Desk-based, expert | $55-$100/hr | RLHF evaluation, medical/3D annotation, red teaming |
Generalist roles post the highest median rate on Claru at $15/hr, and business roles post the lowest at $9/hr.
| Field | Open roles | Median rate | Posted range |
|---|---|---|---|
| Generalist | 38 | $15/hr | $5-$55/hr |
| Healthcare | 9 | $10/hr | $5-$55/hr |
| Software Engineering | 7 | $15/hr | $5-$55/hr |
| Business | 4 | $9/hr | $5-$15/hr |

Capture roles walk you through the filming spec (resolution, framing, clip length) before your first submission. Desk-based roles run a short practice batch against the rubric so you and Claru can calibrate before paid work starts.
Capture contributors film on their own schedule and upload same-day. Desk-based contributors claim a batch, complete it against the published rubric, and submit; disagreements with a reviewer go through an async comment thread.
Payment lands on a bi-weekly cadence for accepted work. US contributors are paid by ACH direct deposit, typically within 7 to 10 days of approval; other markets are paid by international transfer through Wise, Payoneer or a local equivalent.
It depends which half of the board you're looking at. Video capture pays a flat regional rate: $5/hr across Claru's listed Asian markets, $6-$7/hr across LATAM, $10/hr in Canada, $15/hr in the US. Desk-based annotation and evaluation work pays $20-$35/hr for entry-tier labeling up to $55-$100/hr for RLHF evaluation, medical and 3D vision annotation, and red teaming.
Not for video capture. Those listings ask for an approved smartphone, a head mount and access to the setting being filmed, nothing more. Desk-based annotation and evaluation roles are different: several expect graduate-level domain knowledge or prior professional annotation experience, especially the $55-$100/hr tier.
Desk-based roles are remote with no country gate. Video capture roles are limited to the countries named on each listing: currently the US, Canada, a set of LATAM markets (Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru) and a set of Asian markets (India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam), each paid at its own flat rate.
Claru prices video capture by market rather than by the work itself. The filming spec is identical across every region for a given task family, kitchen, garage, warehouse, and so on, but the hourly rate is set per country, from $5/hr in its Asian markets up to $15/hr in the US.
On a bi-weekly cadence, and only for work that passes review. US contributors are paid by ACH direct deposit; other markets by international transfer through Wise, Payoneer or a local equivalent.
Claru is the contributor-facing brand of Reka AI, which builds human data for frontier AI labs across text, vision, video and robotics.
Pick the listing that matches what you can offer, filming equipment for capture work or subject depth for desk-based work, since Claru onboards per role rather than through one shared application.
