You'll assess AI understanding of historical causation, philosophical argumentation, literary analysis, and cultural significance—domains where AI tends to produce confident-sounding but superficially reasoned responses. Tasks might ask: Does this AI explanation of the French Revolution's causes accurately weigh the relative importance of economic vs. ideological factors? Is this philosophical argument logically valid or does it commit a category error? Does this literary analysis engage with the text's actual language or just its plot summary? Written feedback must be substantive and precise. Graduate training or deep professional expertise in a humanities discipline is the norm.
