What to Expect
Czech Republic-based professionals have consistent AI training opportunities across Czech language evaluation, technical roles, and STEM expertise domains. Czech language evaluation is in steady demand, Czech's complex inflectional morphology and the spoken/written Czech diglossia mean AI Czech quality requires expert native review. Bohemian Czech (Prague standard) and Moravian regional varieties are both evaluated. The Czech Republic's strong technical education system creates natural alignment with software engineering, mathematics, and data science evaluation roles. CET/CEST (UTC+1/+2) time zone gives excellent European platform coverage. SEPA bank transfer and Payoneer are standard payment methods. Prague's growing tech ecosystem and the Czech Republic's established freelancer framework (živnostenský list, trade license) make independent contractor work straightforward.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to pay tax on AI training income in the Czech Republic?
Yes. Freelance income from foreign platforms must be declared to the Finanční správa (Financial Administration) on your annual return.
Do I need a živnostenský list (trade license) to start?
Not to apply or pass an assessment. Once invoicing regularly, you'll register at a živnostenský úřad. It's fast and inexpensive. As an OSVČ (self-employed person), you'll then owe minimum monthly health and social insurance advances even in months you earn little or nothing.
How do I get paid, given the koruna isn't on the euro?
Wise generally beats PayPal on the USD-to-CZK conversion. The Czech Republic isn't in the eurozone, so every payout involves a conversion step.
Is remote AI training work legit for people in the Czech Republic?
Yes. Platforms including SME Careers and Turing hire Czech Republic-based contractors directly.
What skills are most in demand from Czech-based applicants?
Czech-language evaluation has its own small queue, alongside general reasoning, writing, and coding review work that makes up most of the volume.
How many Czech Republic AI training jobs are open right now?
This page is showing 929 listings open to contractors in Czech Republic, sourced from 9 platforms: Micro1 (323), Ethos (238), SME Careers (218), Turing (140) and Mercor (4). The most recent one was picked up today. The count moves as platforms post and close roles, so treat it as a snapshot of today rather than a fixed figure.
What do Czech Republic AI training jobs pay?
Most sit between $65 and $100 an hour, with a median of $75, measured across the 518 listings on this page that quote an hourly rate. The highest rate currently posted here is $400 an hour. These are the figures the platforms published, not our estimates, and the rate you are offered depends on how you do in that platform's assessment.
Are Czech Republic roles paid hourly or per task?
Both appear here. 48 listings pay per task or per project rather than by the hour, and the rest quote an hourly rate. Per-task work suits people who are fast and accurate, since your effective hourly rate depends on how long each unit takes you.
